Angelica Zabanal, Attorney

Angelica advises clients on commercial contracts and other types of business contracts and transactions. Her background in commercial litigation, privacy, and general liability uniquely positions her to counsel clients across a wide range of business matters.

Angelica is an engaged member of the legal community. She previously served on the executive board of the Filipino Bar Association of Northern California and as the Young Lawyers Vice Liaison to the Law Practice Management Committee of DRI. She has been recognized as a “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers, an honor awarded to only 2.5% of attorneys under 40. In 2023, she was named a “Lawyer on the Fast Track” by the California Legal Awards. Angelica served on the leadership team for Stanford University's Ten and Fifteen Year Reunion Homecoming in 2019 and 2024. In addition, she was a 2018 Fellow of the New Leaders Council and has previously held board roles with both the Alameda County and Mid-Peninsula chapters of the ACLU of Northern California. Angelica is a member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals and is a Certified Information Privacy Professional/United States (CIPP/US).

A proud daughter of Filipino immigrants, Angelica was born in Los Angeles and raised in Hawai‘i. She is fluent in Tagalog. Angelica earned her J.D. from the University of Hawai‘i William S. Richardson School of Law in 2014 and graduated with honors from Stanford University in 2009.
